National Truck Driver Appreciation Week 2022
National Truck Driver Appreciation Week took place from September 11th to September 17th. In the United States alone, there are 3.5 million truck drivers. Globally, the number of drivers increases to 6 million including United States.
At Brent Redmond Transportation, we took time to thank every company driver that came through the office. When drivers would come in, we gifted them with a reusable bottle and a personal letter thanking them for all that they do. We started the week off by filling our refrigerator and kitchen with breakfast and lunch items including plenty of snacks and drinks for the drivers. At the end of the week, we hosted a luncheon that was open to all drivers.
Even though National Truck Driver Appreciation Week has passed, they should be appreciated all year long. Truck drivers are the backbone of the United States. Without them, we would not have fresh produce, food, clothing, or anything that you use! Anytime you see a truck driver, thank them for all that they do for us.
